The Clandestine Mimic+ arrives beautifully packaged. The box is black and hot pink, and if you are buying this for your partner, they’ll be very impressed! Opening the box, you will also find a thick black satin storage bag, a USB magnetic charging cable, and an instruction booklet.
I really can’t get over how unique the Mimic design is. Its shape makes it lovely to hold, and it fits perfectly into your hand - it really is a ‘touchy-feely’ object.
Charging is simple - just attach the magnetic charger to the two metal buttons on the Mimic, and charge for approximately two hours - or until the power light stops flashing.
The power is controlled via a centre circle button on the top of the Mimic. To get started, just push the circle and it rumbles into life. There is 1 constant vibration setting – but you can increase or decrease the power of this by pressing the + or – next to the circle. If you push the circle again, then you can scroll through 7 different patterns, again you can increase or decrease the power by pressing the + or –buttons.
I was happy to find that the vibrations are very deep and rumbly, (this is not a buzzy toy) which you can feel deep within you. The orgasms I got from this toy were very different, and were more of a slow build up to a much longer and deeper orgasm, which felt wonderful.
The only downside is that this vibe is quite loud. If you have children or need privacy, you may want to play some music to completely hide the vibrations - as they are not quiet - especially on the higher vibration levels.
As the Mimic is waterproof, you can take it into the shower or bath for playtime and this also makes it extremely easy to clean - you can wash it in either hot soap and water or use a spritz of LH toy cleaner and rinse.
I was lucky enough to be asked to test the Mimic+, and I really rate it! It has a higher price tag, but I think that it’s well worth the outlay, as the Mimic is very different and unique with very powerful vibrations. It feels very solid and well built - which is great, because mine is going to get a lot of use!
